Serious game & professional training
Learning through immersion

Nobody becomes an athlete by reading an anatomy textbook: you become one on the field. At Arcane Experience, we design serious games for training as a gym for skills development. We build training programmes that are immersive and high-intensity, to sharpen the decision-making, sales and management reflexes of your learners.

With our expertise in learning design and game-based learning, we can immerse and train learners in groups of 10 to several hundred participants at once, without ever compromising on rigour.

Why active learning beats the top-down model

PowerPoint decks and lecture-style sessions have reached their limits: they pass on theory, but they don’t build behavioural memory. In a crisis, under pressure or during a difficult conversation, it’s ingrained reflexes that take over.

Picto Support

Building reflexes

Practise and experiment through realistic role-play scenarios until the right professional habits become automatic.

Picto Idée

A safe sandbox

A space to experiment where mistakes are entirely allowed, so teams can test, assess and adjust with no business risk.

Knowledge that sticks

Use game-based learning and lived experience to embed new skills across the organisation for good.

Two learning formats to match your L&D challenges

To meet the precise needs of executive committees, HR directors, L&D leads and training providers, we offer two complementary approaches to build a training programme that fits you:

Picto Succes

Our ready-to-run programme

  • “Deciding under uncertainty & engaging your teams”

  • A complete training programme co-created by Arcane Experience (crisis simulation and War Room) and Feel & Lead (neuroscience and leadership).

  • Who it’s for: executive committees, senior leaders, CIOs, crisis teams, managers.

  • The setup: A high-pressure simulation run on our proprietary Protocole SIGC platform, hands-on practice with decision-making safeguards, and a neuroscience-led debrief.

Gamifying your learning paths

  • Design a playful programme for your corporate university

  • Already have training content, technical materials or an HR competency framework? We handle the storytelling and bespoke game design that turn your content into a compelling learning experience .

  • Who it’s for Instructional designers, L&D directors and HR leads looking to refresh their learning tools.

Where game-based learning makes the biggest difference

We don’t invent theory: we apply game mechanics where hands-on practice delivers the strongest return for the business. Here are our key areas, backed by real projects:

Sales techniques & commercial mindset:

The challenge: Embedding strategic questioning and active listening in sales teams through engaging role-play — and not a single slide.

Knowledge management & skills transfer

The challenge: Getting knowledge to flow freely and making the most of intellectual capital between experts and operational teams.

Change management & strategic alignment

The challenge: Supporting digital transformation, breaking down silos and bringing the learner community on board with new directions.

Training large groups all at once

One of the biggest challenges in training project management is reaching large numbers without diluting the learning impact or multiplying individual sessions.

Thanks to our command of game design and event engineering, our serious games are built to scale. Whether you want to bring together 50, 100, 200 or 700 employees in a single training programme, our setups run smoothly thanks to:

Methodically splitting participants into self-contained sub-groups.

Interactive workshops synchronised in real time by a lead host and dedicated facilitators.

A group dynamic in which individual learning is amplified by collective energy.

The Arcane learning method
Immersion & mirror debrief

A training session built around a game only creates value if the scenario is tied straight back to the participants’ day-to-day reality. Our approach tolearning design rests on two inseparable pillars:

Immersive scenarios

Dropped into a realistic, high-stakes storyline, learners face strategic choices in real time. This intense experience lets them see the impact of every decision as it happens, and brings each team’s true behavioural reflexes to the surface.

The mirror debrief

The beating heart of the session, led by our experts or co-led with your internal managers. It’s the moment to analyse observed behaviours while they’re still fresh, identify what drives success and turn it all into a concrete action plan for everyday work.

Rigour, traceability and L&D quality

Because continuing professional development comes with strict industry standards, our learning solutions include:

Picto Quiz

Assessment of learning

Individual and group tracking through diagnostic, formative and summative assessment grids.

Picto trace

Traceability

Attendance sheets and completion certificates to validate the learning objectives.

Picto Journée de sensibilisation

Accessibility

Welcome and support arrangements adapted for people with disabilities.

Serious games in professional training

What's the difference between team building and a training serious game?

Team building is mainly about cohesion and having fun. A training serious game, on the other hand, is a structured training session built around precise learning objectives (acquiring know-how, developing soft skills, embedding methodologies). It starts with a needs assessment , measures what’s been learnt, and always ends with a mirror debrief focused on the job itself.

Can you gamify training content or a framework we already own?

Absolutely. That’s the core of our bespoke learning design offer for L&D departments. You bring the subject expertise and the raw material; our learning designer creates the scenario, the game mechanics and the playful tools that go with them. Your training gains a new dimension without losing the value of your internal content.

Can we co-lead the debrief with our own trainers or managers?

Yes, and we recommend it. Involving your internal trainer or manager in the debrief strengthens the link with everyday work situations. Your teams then naturally take over and support learners over the long term. Looking to design a training programme with a difference, or rethink your learning paths? You can contact us directly to talk it through with our team.

What our clients say

Véronique Pauwels Hog, Head of CSR Engagement and HR Development, Konecta

This game is a real catalyst: it brings problem situations out into the open and resolves them in a playful setting. It's a genuine asset in our management training programme!

Vincent CONTE, Marketing & Development Director, Algeco France

Getting our sales teams to work in a playful format went down extremely well. You work on the substance in a form that really engages people. It was hugely appreciated!

Malika Amara, Customer Experience Director, Saint Gobain

I wanted to thank the Arcane team for your support on this great Pulse-up customer obsession project. The workshop is dynamic and easy to grasp for every entity in the group. And we've noticed that once teams try it, they adopt it. The brands that tested the game with us are ready to do it again.
