Overview
Made employee wellbeing a priority but not sure where to start? Arcane Experience supports your change management by raising awareness of workplace wellbeing across your teams. To make an awareness campaign land, you need to spark interest and drive engagement with your audience. And what better way to bring your people on board than play? You can’t rush the process, but you can speed up the shift by using gamification to demystify the issues behind workplace wellbeing. That’s the promise of this team building game: a semi-customisable investigation with pop-culture flair, designed to boost your employer brand.
The hidden side of workplace wellbeing
Let’s be honest, we all have a darker side. In some people it’s a little more pronounced than in others, but luckily for us (and for your teams) it rarely takes the wheel. When it does, though, the consequences can be disastrous. Excessive professional pressure, heavy responsibilities and a flood of negative emotions such as stress or anxiety can lead some employees to lose control and behave inappropriately towards their colleagues. These harmful behaviours, conscious or not, spread and undermine everyone’s wellbeing. To open eyes and tackle management missteps, this wellbeing game offers a playful immersion in a wonderfully offbeat professional world.
The League of Evil wants to steal the Wellbeing Charter from the League of Good and poach its best people. To pull it off, it sows doubt and mistrust among the League of Good’s employees.
The game runs over 7 rounds. Each round features a puzzle linked to one of these 7 wellbeing themes:
- Professional recognition
- Internal communication
- Wellbeing in the workplace
- Working environment
- Work/life balance
- Employee recognition / professional
- development
A mystery employee, tasked with protecting the Charter, must be unmasked to restore harmony and foil the League of Evil’s plans.
A debrief puts each theme back into a real workplace perspective.
Step back and look at workplace behaviour and management practices.
Step outside your own company context, so no one is singled out.
Support your teams as perceptions and good practice around wellbeing and working conditions evolve.

The benefits of a semi-customisable wellbeing team building
Engage your employees
Getting employees involved and keeping them engaged is no small task. Customising your team building session means adopting your audience's language and references, so they play a game they feel they already know. Customisation blends the imagination of the scenario with the realism of working life, and boosts participation as a result.
Grow your employer brand
We often think carefully about the image we project to prospects, partners and suppliers, but the image we project to our own people matters just as much. Your employer brand is the art of attracting new talent through well-crafted communication, but it also brings together the people already working within your organisation. Choosing a semi-customisable investigation means going the extra mile, and it will far exceed your teams' expectations. Far from a copy-and-paste exercise, customisation shows a genuine intention to do things well by bringing a personal touch to a collective project. Customising your wellbeing team building also strengthens your employees' sense of belonging by recognising both their work and their human qualities. A strong employer brand secures your company's future: it's a virtuous circle, because we all know a happy team is a more productive one. So invest in a playful, appealing employer brand with Arcane Experience and strengthen your team spirit.
Strengthen your company culture
Company culture is an organisation's unique identity, the thing that sets it apart. It's rooted in its mission and vision, and in the values that guide its business and corporate strategy. A company isn't measured by revenue alone. A company is also the women and men who gather around a shared goal and a collective vision of sustainable growth. It's a mindset, cultivated day after day. By customising the scenario, you tap into the collective intelligence of your teams and play the emotional card. You choose to put people at the heart of your culture. A customised game also improves everyone's understanding of each other's work and how it contributes to the company's wider goals.
What can be customised?
A semi-customisable investigation is the perfect middle ground between a ready-to-play session and a fully bespoke team building. In essence, it's a ready-to-play game with the option to personalise certain elements of the scenario. We won't turn you into fully fledged game designers: our project managers guide you and call on your input to weave details from your working life into the already tightly written story of this wellbeing team building. These elements aren't decisive and don't affect how the investigation is solved. Customisation never aims to exclude anyone, and rules out any discomfort or value judgements.

We’re always happy to share what we know and help you reach your goals.
So how does a full-scale wellbeing investigation actually work?
Whether you’re a team building regular or a complete newcomer, it isn’t always easy to picture how a session unfolds without having tried one. Arcane Experience supports you end to end in organising your corporate event and demystifies the key stages of bringing your CSR approach to life through play. Working with specialists guarantees a successful event and, above all, far lighter logistics for you.
Tell us about your project
Our sales advisers are on hand to qualify your needs and guide you towards the CSR team building that matches your challenges. Together, we look at your social report and assess your company’s wellbeing to build your CSR priorities into the game. Then, based on your constraints and expectations, we select the ideal team building to support your awareness campaign. By customising your team building, you’re sure to hit the mark: you’ll encourage dialogue between everyone in your company and your teams will come out closer.
Producing your event
Once our collaboration is confirmed, our project managers handle all the logistics around your event. This is production, pure and simple. In regular contact with you and with the venue, our project managers coordinate your event right up to the big day. This is also the stage where, hand in hand with us, you personalise certain elements of the scenario. You’ll need to provide the floor plans of your offices or chosen venue too. That plan is essential for adapting our game routes to your spaces.
Knock knock, it's showtime
Arcane Experience delivers a ready-to-play session. We handle transport for the game materials and the facilitators, and cover all costs related to the session. Our actor-facilitators arrive 90 minutes before the game starts to set up all the equipment and place the clues in the areas agreed beforehand. Once everything is ready, the lead facilitator briefs the participants and starts the clock. An hour and a half later, players catch their breath and share their conclusions: time for the debrief. After a friendly wrap-up, our facilitators pack up the equipment, thank the players, have a final word with your contacts and head home. Allow 2 hrs in total for the session.
It's not over: let's track the results
After a colourful, emotional event, it’s time to measure the impact of your gamified awareness campaign. We’ve put together a satisfaction survey designed to measure how well the social messages carried by the game were absorbed. We also gather your feedback on Arcane Experience’s expertise and the quality of our services. And finally, to make your CSR event even more memorable and bring your social commitment to life, we give you the photographs of your wellbeing team building. Why workplace wellbeing matters
Workplace wellbeing is often associated with how good employees feel about their job and the company they work for. But it goes far beyond that feeling. It’s also a strategic approach aimed at improving both working conditions and overall company performance. Workplace wellbeing takes a holistic view of the social, strategic and legal issues that affect employer and employee alike. It’s both a collective and an individual responsibility. Employee engagement sits at the heart of the approach. Today, workplace wellbeing covers six main areas.

Creating value
Workplace wellbeing encourages employees to take ownership of the company’s values by sharing a common vision of its sustainable growth. By taking an active part in company life, employees invest more of themselves and fully embrace their role as brand ambassadors. They feed your company culture. Employees are invited to take part in the strategic decisions that commit the company over the medium and long term, with profitability in mind. Transparency about the organisation’s financial stability and profit-sharing schemes both contribute to creating value. The focus is on developing teams’ collective intelligence, with the aim of acquiring new knowledge and generating new ideas built on cooperation.

Working relationships
This is where supportive management comes in. Workplace wellbeing moves away from top-down exchanges and hierarchical relationships in favour of horizontal dialogue. Listening, sharing, support, the right to make mistakes and solidarity sit at the heart of supportive management. It also means recognising the work employees do, acknowledging their commitment and their contribution to the company’s wider goals. The aim is to create synergy between decision-makers and employees, and between colleagues too, building the climate of trust that productive work depends on. This is the aspect we bring to life in our workplace wellbeing game.

Health at work
When we think about workplace wellbeing, occupational risk isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind, and yet it’s a sensitive subject that should be treated as vital. Broadly, it covers all working conditions: layout of the premises, lighting, quality of the furniture, background noise, ambient temperature, and so on. But health at work also covers the prevention of occupational risks and unsafe practices, some of which employees may not even be aware of. Caring about your employees’ health shows a genuine intention to improve their wellbeing, rather than simply pleasing them with superficial perks. We touch on some of these themes in our workplace wellbeing team building too.

Equal opportunity
Equal opportunity starts with how you recruit new candidates. Inclusivity is essential. Workplace wellbeing promotes equal, non-discriminatory treatment of employees. The diversity of your people is what makes your company rich. Gender parity must be respected, and everyone should enjoy the same rights and duties regardless of gender, nationality, religion or any other discriminatory factor. Beyond this promise of professional equality, equal opportunity is also measured by work/life balance. Workplace wellbeing supports flexible schedules, early finishes, remote working and any other practice that helps people meet both their personal and professional responsibilities.
