The challenge
How do you bring heritage to life, put a new pop-up venue on the map and draw the public into its open spaces?
The former Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital (Paris 14) closed its doors to become Les Grands Voisins, a site in transition: a multidisciplinary space hosting charities, companies and artists, and open to the public with a wide-ranging arts and culture programme.
Our response
A large-scale murder mystery: Crime aux Urgences.
The venue inspired everything. An abandoned hospital in the heart of Paris, reborn as a collaborative hub for charities, companies and artists. We brought its history back to life, inviting players to move between past and present — all through play!
The format
A large-scale murder mystery lasting 90 minutes. Every weekend, three sessions were open to the public, giving visitors the chance to explore this truly unusual site and help spread the word about it.
