Aventures en Image: everyday superheroes!

Overview
Sustainability is a cornerstone of any corporate CSR strategy. To move a whole company forward and embed environmental management, you need every stakeholder on board. Yet putting those principles into practice and driving real, lasting change is no easy task. Beyond raising awareness of environmental challenges, you need to involve your people and win their buy-in. Creative team building, built on freedom of expression, gives employees the chance to bring their professional and personal commitments together. The horizontal, collective nature of the game creates shared awareness and genuine commitment to the group you’ve built. Change gets moving by shining a light on the meaningful actions people already take every day. Arcane Experience helps you raise awareness among your stakeholders by revealing those everyday commitments. Back their efforts and make them active players in your company’s sustainable transition.
Art as a driver of engagement and sustainability
Creativity is innate, and it grows from childhood into adulthood. Yet the way we develop, and the frameworks society teaches us, build imaginary walls that box that creativity in. In the workplace, creativity struggles to find its place. For some, serious work and the creative arts simply don’t mix. So when art becomes a tool for raising awareness, you have to see it to believe it — better still, to live it. By calling on participants’ artistic sense, the creative workshop reaches their emotions and their personal sensibilities. The sheer volume of information around sustainability often leaves employees paralysed, unable to sort the data and build a concrete action plan. Creative team building engages both body and mind. It’s an original format that sparks curiosity and feeds the appetite to learn. What they produce is the result of their collective thinking. That creative process helps serious messages land and stick. It also brings employees together around a shared subject, which makes collaboration natural. From collective intelligence comes cohesion. To move beyond theory and bring your company’s social commitments to life, Aventures en Image is the key to your transformation.

The benefits of a team building session on sustainability
Boost responsible productivity
Creative awareness-raising team building puts participants into a group dynamic and encourages everyone to contribute to the collective work. It brings employees together around a serious shared challenge and encourages both individual and collective initiative. The CSR workshop makes every participant active on sustainability — a player, not a passive spectator. By calling on each employee's creative and environmental conscience, the scripted session creates real momentum within the group. But the productivity of the session comes mainly from seeing their responsible actions and collective thinking take physical form. Producing the creative work sharpens focus, and makes participants more attentive and more receptive to the environmental messages the session conveys. Creativity boosts the productivity of body and mind alike.
Build employee engagement
Every employee has a different level of sensitivity and commitment to sustainability. Brought together around a collective challenge, however, participants set their differences aside and put their knowledge to work for the group. The creative workshop naturally creates brainstorming sessions where ideas are shared and built upon. Complementary talents and skills take centre stage. Each employee's contribution reflects their personal commitment to the collective work. Everyone adds their piece to the puzzle and brings something extra to the shared creation. And that commitment doesn't stop there. The artistic object they produce stands as a symbol of their commitment to a wider environmental cause, one that goes far beyond a single company's interests.
Reinforce your values
The creative workshop puts people at the heart of its story. In doing so, it treats human relationships as the engine of any collective project — a philosophy shared across organisations. The brainstorming the format encourages opens up informal conversation and lets personalities come through. Creative team building builds trust, strengthens relationships between colleagues and contributes to their wellbeing. It shapes a company culture grounded in communication, expression and collaboration. Staging the photos and customising the finished work prompts participants to put words and form to their emotions. That process helps them take ownership of the messages behind your CSR strategy and the values they reflect.
Customise your creative workshop
The everyday “superhero” scenario is fully customisable and adapts to your CSR priorities. Tailoring the story places your employees in concrete work situations. It's the chance to mix business with pleasure in a two-in-one team building session. Linking workplace realities to sustainability draws your employees in further and strengthens their commitment to your company and your CSR pledges. Their creativity then becomes a lever for innovation, generating new responsible actions the company can take day to day for lasting impact.

How we bring your environmental awareness campaign to life
Sustainability is a complex, many-sided challenge. Its objectives are ambitious and cross-cutting, and they call for both civil society and business to act. To mobilise a company, you have to mobilise its stakeholders — above all its employees, who create its value. For them to buy into your CSR strategy, you first need to raise their awareness, give them responsibility and involve them as individuals. To have the effect you want, your awareness campaign must be targeted and aligned with your values. Your roadmap needs clear objectives, set according to your sector and the levers available to you. To identify them, Arcane Experience helps you analyse your approach and prioritise your CSR challenges. We offer bespoke support from the first conversation through to logistics and facilitation on the day. Turning your event into reality starts with a clear, precise picture of every stage of the journey. Arcane Experience is here to help, and to reveal the winning process behind a successful, memorable event.

More than a one-off collaboration, we offer genuine immersion in the world of gamification. Our awareness-raising team building sessions get your messages across without guilt-tripping or boring your people. That’s the promise of an exclusive, playful and instructive session. And to multiply the impact, we recommend closing the activity with a touch of game-based training delivered by one of our expert partners. We can even customise the Aventures en Image scenario to deepen employee engagement and put their creativity to work for your company’s sustainable transformation.
Producing your event
Our conversations have paid off — time to shift up a gear! We hand your brief to one of our project managers, who takes charge of producing your team building session. From then on, they’re your point of contact for everything logistical. Some sessions call for heavier logistics than others, which is why our project managers stay in regular touch with the client organiser to keep information flowing. We guarantee a ready-to-play activity. On that basis, we cover all the additional costs tied to producing your session — mainly travel for our facilitators and equipment hire where needed. You’ll receive regular schedule updates reflecting your requirements, and a final summary a few days before the event. You can change the number of participants free of charge up to 7 days beforehand. To prepare our teams’ arrival, we’ll check the layout of the spaces with you and confirm that tables are available for the artistic creations. Once the participant list is complete, you’re free to put the teams together yourself, or let our facilitators draw them at random on the day.
Ding dong, it's game day
As producer and organiser of your team building session, Arcane Experience guarantees a high-quality, precisely run service. With the final logistical details settled, our teams arrive at your venue, check in and meet the organisers present on the day. Our facilitators arrive 30 minutes before the start to prepare the playing area and set out the equipment, so the spaces need to be free during that half hour. Then it’s time for action. The lead facilitator takes over and plunges participants into the world of the game. Next, the professional photographer briefs the players and immerses them in the history of photography and the techniques of shooting with a Polaroid. After that short theory session, participants are split into teams and head to their creative workstation. They then have 1 hour, entirely on their own, to embody their version of the everyday superhero and shoot 7 photos. At the end, teams present their collective work to everyone else and help assess the rival creations. The team with the best story and the best presentation is crowned winner of these art games. The lead facilitator and the photographer comment on the masterpieces and deliver a general debrief. The end is coming! You’re welcome to take your creations away with you, proudly, and keep the memories alive in the office. We pack up the remaining equipment (30 minutes of pack-down) and talk to the organisers present to gather their impressions. After a few thank-yous, we head back to Arcane HQ. The session lasts 2 hours in total.
It's not over — let's track the results
The event is over and the memories are in the can, but the fight goes on! To measure how effective your game-based awareness campaign has been, Arcane Experience supports you after the event too. Won over by the originality of the format, your employees become the best ambassadors for your CSR strategy. To harness that hidden strength, our advisers have built satisfaction surveys focused on both player experience and CSR issues. It’s a simple, effective way to gauge how well the messages landed and how far your people have taken ownership of your values. Creative team building is designed to stir participants’ sense of solidarity and environmental responsibility. Their concern for sustainability comes out stronger, but to turn talk into action inside the company, you need to nurture the CSR seed the game has planted. Only regular reviews will show you the reach of your initiatives and speed up your company’s transformation. Arcane Experience helps you stay tuned to the employee experience, gathering impressions so your approach can keep evolving. It’s for you to judge how effective a gamified awareness campaign can be. And since nothing is set in stone, we’re always glad to hear your views on how relevant our games are and how good our service is. In exchange, we’ll send you the digitised photos from your sustainability-themed company event. The challenges of sustainability
Sustainability today is far more than a movement: it’s a sensitive, collective imperative. Adopting a more positive, fair and sustainable economic model is a necessity for every company. Faced with the threats raised by the climate crisis, the world is reinventing itself. Companies are redoubling their efforts to understand, analyse and embed these issues in their development strategy. Continuous improvement is the only route to a better environmental transition. Historically, sustainability rests on three pillars: the environmental pillar, the best known, the economic pillar and the social pillar. Sustainability therefore seeks a balance between meeting an organisation’s economic objectives and preserving a healthy, positive social and natural environment. The 2030 Agenda breaks these challenges down into 17 goals shared by the international community. They apply at every level of sustainability and cover climate, biodiversity, energy, education and more. And they don’t only concern the workplace — they touch every aspect of employees’ daily lives. To make sense of it all, Arcane Experience sums up these ambitions and offers a simplified way in.

The social challenge
The social challenges of sustainability are broad and complex. Above all, the social pillar seeks to build a fair and inclusive society. Companies can, for instance, take steps to prevent exclusion and support employee wellbeing. Employers are also developing healthier ways of living and working together. The emphasis is on questioning poor working habits and discriminatory behaviour. It’s this social dimension that inspired workplace wellbeing practices, which aim to improve employees’ working environment in order to raise productivity. Far more than a reflection of social relations, it covers both physical and mental health, with the goal of building a climate of trust, fairness and loyalty towards the company. Reducing inequality sits at the heart of the concept. Recognising employees, professional training, equal opportunity and access to decent work are further examples of social challenges.

The economic challenge
The economic pillar, inseparable from the others, aims to reduce poverty through a sustainable, virtuous economy. That goal is reached by distributing a company’s wealth fairly and equitably. Yet creating wealth is closely tied to preserving the natural resources that production depends on. Public and private sectors are joining forces to develop fair partnerships that help meet the objectives set out in the 2030 Agenda. To reduce their carbon footprint, companies are encouraged to source from small local producers. Some are also turning to renewable energy. The focus is shifting to rethinking how finished products are made. Recycling a product, yes — but at what cost? The sustainable model champions the circular economy, valuing recycled and renewable raw materials. At individual level, small actions such as buying second-hand, recycling and choosing organic, local produce all count. Collaborative consumption and the sharing economy help build an economy that is fairer and kinder to the environment. The wealth these sectors generate also funds innovative, responsible infrastructure, which in turn makes cities and communities more sustainable.

The environmental challenge
The environmental challenge is probably the best known, given its devastating physical effects on ecosystems. Little wonder: natural resources are vital to the productive activities that shape our societies. Protecting the environment is therefore central to meeting the objectives of the 2030 Agenda. To get there, companies can put an environmental policy in place, focusing in particular on cutting greenhouse gas emissions and optimising their environmental impact. In a sense, the depletion of fossil fuels inevitably pushes companies to rethink their energy model for growth in favour of renewables. Recycling limits the volume of waste and protects the environment from industrial pollution. Optimising supply and production chains then reduces the use of single-use materials and limits waste. At individual level, the same rules apply. Cutting waste, using low-emission transport and optimising energy consumption are small habits worth adopting to shrink your carbon footprint. These responsible, environmentally sound practices help fight global warming and contribute to protecting wildlife and plant life on land and at sea.
