How to organise a Murder Mystery Team Building
Let’s define the goal of the activity together
Before anything else, decide what you want this team bonding activity to achieve. Do you want to improve communication, sharpen problem-solving skills or simply give your employees a great time?
Let’s choose a scenario and a theme
Pick an intriguing scenario such as Le Crime & l’Ecrivain or Mafia Denfert along with a theme that suits your company. This draws participants into the story and makes the experience even more gripping.
Let’s build the teams
We make a point of mixing people from different teams and departments, so colleagues who rarely work together get to interact. Or you can simply leave it to chance!
On the day, our facilitators and actors explain the rules and the scenario
Before play begins, they take the time to walk participants through the rules, the storyline and the objectives.
Teams have 90 minutes to solve the mystery
Once everything is in place, the teams dive into the investigation, following the clues that move them forward through the game.
Debrief and reflection
Once the mystery is solved, we run a debrief session where teams share their experiences, discuss what they’ve learnt and reflect on the skills they used during the game.
