Meet the team
Based in Paris since we started out in 2015, Arcane is a close-knit agency: a pool of talent working together to make your event game projects a success.
Our size makes for real dialogue and genuine team spirit. Four core roles work alongside the two founders. Each one is essential to building a game that works.

Game designer
The game designer is the architect of the game. They design its structure while keeping your constraints in mind: the number of players, the venue, and the message to get across. From there, they build a storyline that answers your brief.Next, they turn all of this into puzzles, clues, texts, videos and more, which are then handed over to the right specialists for each need (set designer, prop makers, videographer, photographer, graphic designer).
Art Director
The art director shapes the identity of the game and defines the mood it should convey. They set the tone by creating its visual world. They also brief every supplier involved, so the game stays consistent from start to finish.
Project manager
The project manager coordinates the making of the game, working closely with suppliers. They step in once the game designer has finished creating. Their first task is to find the right suppliers at the right price. They then guide them through production, and coordinate them whenever they need to work together. In short, the project manager is the link between you and your expectations, the game designer and the suppliers. They stay involved right up to the game’s launch.
Game Master
The game master welcomes players to their session. Their role is essential: they are the players’ point of reference throughout the game. They explain the rules, start the session and make sure everything runs smoothly. At times, they give players a nudge in the right direction. They also run the debrief and decide which team comes out on top.Our game masters are professional actors. They play a character throughout, immersing players in the game from the very first minutes.
